Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Assembly Responsibilities

• Perform light manufacturing tasks, including electronics assembly, fixture building, and product optimization.

• Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing instructions, and technical documentation.

• Conduct soldering, wiring, and basic circuitry work, including AC/DC power handling.

• Operate hand tools and production machinery safely and effectively.

• Assemble, test, and verify in-house manufactured products to ensure functionality and compliance with quality standards.

• Perform routine quality-control testing and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Utilize ERP systems for planning and inventory control.

• Track time and progress on all manufacturing tasks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Material Handling & Production Support

• Prepare materials and components required for daily manufacturing activities.

• Replenish stock in production and assembly areas.

• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to transport materials safely.

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming components and production materials.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and inventory updates.

• Package and prepare finished goods for shipment using methods that protect product integrity.

• Ensure all materials and finished products are properly labeled and documented.

• Report inventory discrepancies, defective materials, or production issues promptly.

Manufacturing Warehouse Responsibilities

• Organize production staging areas for smooth workflow between manufacturing, shipping, and receiving.

• Support with scheduling, material availability, and production timelines.

• Manage space optimization within the manufacturing warehouse.

• Process returns and exchanges related to manufactured products.

• Uphold all manufacturing safety and operating procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

• Participate in special manufacturing projects and R&D tasks as assigned.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics assembly, production, or manufacturing operations.

• Strong proficiency with hand tools, machinery, and low-voltage electrical components.

• Understanding of electronics and basic automation is beneficial.

• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• College diploma is an asset.

• Ability to prioritize and keep multiple overlapping projects on track.

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Able to follow safe lifting and material-handling practices.

• Basic Microsoft Excel skills for production and inventory data management.

• Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Willingness to expand skills and grow within the role.
