Job Title: Appian Developer (Level 2 Certified)
Location: Remote (Anywhere within the U.S. – Texas-based candidates preferred)
Work Arrangement:
• Fully remote role (U.S.-based; Texas residency preferred)
• 6-month contract engagement (approximately 1,040 hours)
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Appian Level 2 Developer Certification required (verification and copy must be provided)
• Candidates may only be represented by one vendor for this opportunity
Position Overview:
We are seeking a certified Appian Level 2 Developer to design, develop, and deploy business applications using Appian’s low-code platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building SAIL interfaces, developing process models, integrating APIs, and optimizing application performance.
This role requires a proactive problem-solver with solid Agile experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including analysts and QA. Experience supporting Texas State Agencies and familiarity with GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite) are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build Appian applications using SAIL interfaces and Process Models
• Develop integrations with external systems via APIs
• Optimize UI performance and application responsiveness
• Write and execute unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams for validation and testing
• Ensure adherence to Agile development practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 8+ years of Agile methodology experience
• 8+ years of strong design, development, and analytical experience
• 8+ years of effective communication and teamwork experience
• 3+ years of Appian or low-code platform development experience
• Appian Level 2 Senior Developer Certification (minimum 3 years)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience; high school diploma required)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with one or more Texas State Agencies
• 2+ years of experience with GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite)
• 3+ years of hands-on Appian or low-code platform development experience beyond minimum requirements
