Location: Columbus, Ohio (In-Office Position) Travel: Occasional, short-duration (days, not weeks)About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone who already holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license or is actively working toward obtaining one. The role includes HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system design, along with project management responsibilities and professional client interaction.
This is an in-office role for individuals who enjoy collaboration, leadership opportunities, and challenging engineering work.Key Responsibilities
Perform HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system design for a variety of project types
Lead and support project management tasks, including coordination, scheduling, and documentation
Participate in client development through professional interaction (not sales-focused)
Conduct site visits and short-duration travel as needed
Support data center, telecommunications, mission-critical, and commercial projects
Take on leadership responsibilities and mentor junior team members
Use REVIT for design and documentationQualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
PE license or the ability and desire to obtain PE licensure
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical design
Proficiency with REVIT
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in taking on lead roles and growing professionally
Willingness to learn data center and telecommunications design (training provided)
Enjoys problem-solving and thrives on challenging work
Must work on-site in Columbus, Ohio (this is not a remote position)What We Offer
