Job Title: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AWS Serverless)
Location: Remote (Preferred CST / East Coast Candidates)
Duration: 03/17/2026 – 12/25/2026 (Extension Possible)
Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (7+ years exp.) with strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and Next.js. Candidate must have solid experience in AWS Serverless development including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS and building APIs/microservices.
Must have strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, DevOps practices, unit testing, and documentation. Candidate should be a self-starter, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and maintaining full stack web applications using React.js and Node.js
Building and deploying AWS Serverless solutions leveraging services such as:
AWS Lambda
DynamoDB
S3
SNS/SQS
CloudWatch
Developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices
Implementing scalable and reusable application components following modern engineering standards
Enhancing automation frameworks and improving test coverage
Supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Performing unit testing, code reviews, and maintaining documentation
Troubleshooting production issues and implementing long-term fixes
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, DevOps, product owners)
Working in an Agile environment and meeting sprint commitments
Ensuring best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
Required Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must have the following:
7+ years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on expertise in:
JavaScript (ES6) / TypeScript
React.js
Node.js
Next.js
Strong experience building cloud-based applications and APIs
Proven hands-on knowledge of AWS Serverless technologies:
AWS Lambda
DynamoDB
S3
CloudWatch
Experience with microservices design and monitoring
Strong understanding of:
Object-Oriented Programming principles
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Modern software engineering best practices
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps frameworks such as:
CloudFormation
GitHub
Ansible
Experience working with NoSQL and relational databases
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development experience
Interest or exposure to Data Science / GenAI / Machine Learning
Strong analytical mindset with ability to refactor and optimize high-frequency services
Education / Certifications
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
AWS Certification(s) are a plus (Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, etc.)

30-minute video technical screening
1-hour technical/team interview with whiteboarding
