Join our team as a Flight Approval Coordinator in Columbus, OH. As an OCC Flight Approval Coordinator (FACT), you sit at the front end of that decision-making engine. You are the first risk gate, the systems thinker, and the connector between Sales, Crew Scheduling, Maintenance, and Flight Operations-ensuring every trip we approve meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and operational integrity across a global fleet.

This is not a passive coordination role. This is where judgment, aviation expertise, and real-time problem solving come together. Working closely with the Duty Managers (DMs) and Flight Ops Management (FOMOD) he/she also contributes to ensuring that the fleet is optimized for a safe and economically efficient operation.

Your Responsibilities:

Conduct initial risk, feasibility, and compliance assessments for all new flight requests and schedule changes.

Evaluate routing, runway performance, NOTAMs, operating hours, and regulatory constraints.

Assess crew availability and duty/rest regulations, subject to Crew Scheduling Team approval.

Coordinate with Crew Scheduling, Maintenance Control, Duty Managers, Flight Ops, Sales, Revenue Management, and Account Teams.

Maintain continuous communication with Sales, RM, AM/CS to provide options for new trip requests and changes based on aircraft and crew availability.

Maintain real-time global oversight of security risks, restrictions, and hazardous situations.

Collaborate with the Safety Department, FOM, DO, DM, and appropriate OCC Teams to ensure the safety of crews, customers, and aircraft by monitoring security, restrictions, and hazardous situations globally. Required education, skills and experience:

3+ years in Commercial Aviation Operations, including: Flight Dispatch, International Trip Planning, and Crew Scheduling

Strong understanding of global flight and ground operations

High attention to detail with sound operational judgment

Confident, professional communicator

Proficiency with MS Office and aviation operational systems

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays Beneficial background:

Aviation-related studies, Business Aviation experience, Flight Dispatch or Commercial Pilot License, and familiarity with flight planning software. Benefits:
