Outside Operator
Description:
Seeking experienced Outside Operators for upcoming assignments. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and power plant or industrial experience.
Position: Outside Operator
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and operate plant equipment and systems in an outdoor industrial environment
Perform routine inspections of boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary systems
Read gauges and meters, record data, and report abnormalities
Assist Control Room Operators as needed
Perform lockout/tagout procedures
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
Maintain safety and environmental compliance standards
Requirements:
Prior experience in power generation, refinery, chemical plant, or heavy industrial environment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Safety-focused mindset
