Blue Livin Supports is looking for a Recreation Coach to join our Social Recreation Program where every outing, game, and creative activity helps adults with high-functioning disabilities grow, connect, and thrive.

What we are looking for:

Positive and enthusiastic personality with a passion for recreation and inclusion.

Strong communication and coaching skills.

Ability to plan, coordinate, and lead group activities.

Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.

Comfortable working evenings (MondayFriday) and occasional Saturdays.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus but not required we provide training!Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a variety of recreational, social, and wellness activities tailored to participants interests and abilities.

Create individualized activity plans that reflect each participants goals and support needs.

Coordinate and lead group outings and activities, including:

Arts and crafts, fitness sessions, games and, cultural and recreational excursions

Safely transport participants to and from activities using company vehicles.Qualifications:

Minimum six (6) months of verifiable experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, or experience coordinating recreation activities

Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in various indoor/outdoor environments

Basic computer skills and own a smartphone

Must be at least 25 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Must pass employment screening, TB test, and health screening
