Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Supervisor to provide clinical and operational leadership across cardiovascular service lines. This role oversees administrative and clinical functions within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including Stress Lab and ECHO services, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient departmental operations.
The ideal candidate is a Cath Lab RN or Cath Lab Technologist with hands-on procedural experience and prior leadership or supervisory exposure, who is also comfortable supporting clinical duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and supervision for Cath Lab and cardiovascular service line operations
Oversee administrative and clinical functions across Cath Lab, Stress Lab, and ECHO
Ensure safe staffing levels, scheduling coverage, and workflow coordination
Manage departmental labor and operational budgets; monitor productivity and resource utilization
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices
Promote quality patient care, patient safety initiatives, and performance improvement efforts
Support hiring, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions
Provide clinical support in the Cath Lab as needed based on patient volume and operational needs
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Cath Lab RN or Cath Lab Technologist experience (required)
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
Active licensure, certification, or registration as required by state law and facility policy
BLS certification (required)
Demonstrated leadership ability in clinical operations and staff coordination
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred (or equivalent experience)
Previous supervisory experience in Cath Lab, Stress Lab, or ECHO services
Strong operational knowledge including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
