Material Service Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a First Shift Supervisor to lead our Material Services team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising material service associates and coordinating shipping, receiving, inventory control, and system transactions to ensure the efficient flow of materials throughout the organization. The Supervisor will support ERP (QAD) functions and Level One activities to maintain accurate processing, storage, issuance, and shipment of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct Material Services associates to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of work

Coordinate material flow, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities

Support ERP (QAD) transactions and system accuracy

Ensure production goals and quality standards are met

Maintain compliance with safety and company policies

Train, coach, and develop team members while fostering positive team morale

Manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associateâ s degree in business or related field preferred

Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience in material services and/or a manufacturing/production environment

At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing setting

Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated record of strong work performance, quality, safety, and attendance
