Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at a luxury apartment community in Columbus, OH. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a seasoned maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional resident service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support a maintenance team of 2-4 technicians
Schedule, assign, and prioritize daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance work orders
Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs as needed, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
Ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining high quality standards
Oversee preventive maintenance programs to maintain the property's luxury standards
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Maintain accurate records, inventory, and maintenance logs
Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and local regulations
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in multifamily or residential property management
Strong background as a Maintenance Technician, with hands-on experience across building systems
Proven ability to organize schedules and manage workflow for a maintenance team
Experience supervising and motivating a small team (2-4 team members)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Personable with strong customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and management
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC Certification (EPA Universal or equivalent) - a plus
Experience working in luxury or Class A communities
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and vendor coordination
