Title: Microvellum / AutoCAD Engineer

We are a commercial cabinetry and architectural woodworking manufacturer seeking an experienced Engineer to support the design, detailing, and production of custom cabinetry and millwork for commercial construction projects.
This role plays a key part in translating architectural intent into accurate shop drawings and production-ready information using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working closely with Project Managers, Production, and Shop personnel to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare shop drawings and submittals using Microvellum and/or AutoCAD
Develop cabinetry and millwork designs that meet architectural, specification, and contract requirements
Manage and track shop drawings, submittals, revisions, RFIs, ASIs, and bulletins
Enter products and assemblies into Microvellum / Product Planner
Generate DXF drawings as required for production
Review architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy and constructability
Support quality assurance of engineered and produced materials
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity and profitability
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking
Proficiency in Microvellum, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
Strong understanding of cabinet and millwork design and construction methods
Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings fluently
Familiarity with AWI, AWI QCP, LEED, FSC, and SEFA standards
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
