Job Description
Avarga is hiring a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead building envelope and exterior restoration projects across the NYC metro area. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role for a PM who shows up early, communicates constantly, and takes full responsibility for results.
You will be given clear authority, practical systems, and direct access to ownership so you can focus on running the work — not chasing information or cleaning up avoidable mistakes.
Compensation
Starting salary: $100,000/year, with a 90-day performance review and the opportunity for a compensation increase based on achievement of defined goals and performance metrics.

What You’ll Own
Manage 7–10 active façade / exterior restoration projects simultaneously
(Typical project size: $200K–$3M)
Full lifecycle ownership from preconstruction through closeout
Daily coordination of field operations, subcontractors, inspections, and safety
Lead all client and engineer meetings — you represent Avarga
Proactive, frequent client communication (updates, photos, risks, next steps)
Cost tracking, billing alignment, subcontractor invoices, and change orders
Problem-solving in occupied, logistically tight NYC buildings
What We’re Looking For
7+ years managing façade, building envelope, or exterior restoration projects
Strong understanding of NYC building codes, DOB / FISP, and inspection workflows
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once without things slipping
Reliable morning presence in the office or on-site
Clear, proactive communicator — there is no such thing as too much communication
Comfortable directing subcontractors and holding them accountable
Tools & Systems (Preferred)
Sage, Bluebeam, CompanyCam, Google Drive, Slack
Procore experience is a plus, not required
