Role Summary
Our client, a leading international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate financing transactions within a collaborative, high-performing team that advises clients across multiple markets and industries.Key Responsibilities
Represent lenders and other clients in complex commercial real estate transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements and related financing and transaction documents.
Conduct title and survey review, including analysis and resolution of related issues.
Advise clients on real estate financing structures, risk allocation, and transaction strategy.
Collaborate with attorneys across offices to support a dynamic, multi-market real estate practice.Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active New York Bar admission, in good standing.
4–6 years of substantive experience practicing real estate law.
Demonstrated experience with real estate financing, lender representation, and loan document drafting.
Experience handling title and survey diligence.
Strong analytical skills, excellent drafting and communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with close attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications
Experience representing institutional lenders in complex commercial real estate financings.
Prior experience in a large or nationally recognized real estate practice.Compensation & Work Model
Compensation: Expected annual base salary range of $310,000 to $390,000, commensurate with experience and market factors, plus eligibility for a bonus program.
