Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the overall Capital Tractor store operations.
Primary Essential Functions:
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcome and directs visitors and clients.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Maintains a system for end-of-day processing, including recording use of petty cash.
Manage local accounts receivable duties, including:
Opening mail
Making deposits
Posting payments
Processing credit applications
Provide general administrative support across all departments as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
Exemplifies professionalism in appearance and conduct.
