Job Description

Hyperlogistics, a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Warehouse & Distribution Services company near Rickenbacker Airport, is looking for an Maintenance Technician to fill their facilities maintenance opening. This position will support all 4 warehouses and average about 40 hours per week with a starting hourly rate of $35-$40 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintain multiple (4) warehouse facilities, both inside and outside, in a safe, productive and efficient manner.

The repairing and maintenance of racks, dock plates, dock doors, and the overall building.

Repair dock lights, lights, and other minor electric appliances.

Repair plumbing, assist in maintaining sprinkler systems and coordinating testing of the system.

Assist in watering forklifts.

Work closely with others in department and share responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment.

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Must be able to perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on light industrial equipment, racking system, dockplates and dockdoors as needed.

Must be able to perform minor repairs on racking system, dockplates and dockdoors as needed.

Assist the Crown technician with repair of their MHE as needed.

Must be able to do minor drywall work, electrical and plumbing repair as needed.

Able to operate a Crown forklift; Standup, Sit-down, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker

Other jobs as assigned.

Pass a background check.

Have a clean driving record as they will have access the company’s pickup truck.Company Description
