This position will be located in Itasca, IL in a hybrid capacity.

Position Overview:

The purpose of this position is to provide support for finance and lease activities in the Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc. (MHCA) construction market segment. In collaboration with the sales representatives and sales management, maximize new business generation activities in addition to ongoing service and support to existing vendor programs, sources and customers. This position requires the employee to possess discretion and independent judgment. The exercise of discretion and independent judgment involves comparing and evaluating possible courses of conduct and acting or making a decision after several alternatives have been considered. It also requires the employee to create, implement and own processes which improve efficiency from initial application through final funding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as primary support for the assigned Business Development Managers (BDM) and Regional Sales Managers (RSM).

Manage a high velocity of transaction flow with a goal to provide the best-in-class customer experience.

Manage credit application workflow by frequently monitoring electronic queues/emails submitted by sales and/or business partners to proactively ensure all needs are met in an orderly and professional manner.

Responsible for being a trusted contact and sales support liaison between business partners, and MHCA credit and operations teams.

Know and understand the MHCA value proposition, our products and services.

Work with all internal disciplines (credit, operations and accounting) to ensure smooth on-boarding of new dealers, upfitters and OEM’s.

Work together with Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Manager to bring transactions to completion in an expedient manner.

Initiate follow up calls to internal/external business partners and third-party vendors to obtain missing information on active transactions.

Perform other related duties assigned by BDM’ and RSM’s to achieve territory goals.

KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):

Achieve volume of Assigned BDMs.

Achieve NIM target of the Industrial division.

Proven track record to originate volume from Industrial Vendors and finance sources.

Strong knowledge of underwriting, structuring and documentary requirements required by credit.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Tools and Equipment Used:

Personal computer, copier, fax, phone and other office equipment

Ability to use virtual meeting software.

Working Hours:

Hours may vary and will require evening work depending on business needs.

Travel:

Travel as needed basis to visit clients with designated district and attend industry events.

Physical Demands:

Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment.

Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.

Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone, person or virtually.

Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $69,000.00 and $84,000.00 with an opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus.

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
