Sr. IT Helpdesk (Night Shift)

Optimum Source, Inc. a business process outsourcing company located at Ortigas Ctr, Pasig City.

We are currently looking for IT Helpdesk Support for one of our offshore partners.

Job Responsibilities:


• Installation, configuration and troubleshoot desktop systems;

• Day-to-day technical configuration support for desktop systems software and hardware;

• Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment;

• Track assets and inventory;

• Support for hardware and software procurement;


• Upgrade and maintain OS, Firmware, versions;

• Perform regular maintenance of servers (disk clean ups, fragmentation, performance tuning);

• Root Cause Analysis for the incidents and performance recommendations

• Creation of mailboxes & mail clients;

• Create and maintain user roles & policies (Active Directory);

• Plan & Implementing fixes/patches/service packs/upgrades;

• Perform regular security related checks and guards for severs;

• Provide maintenance support for virtual, Citrix and Windows environment;

• Maintain VSS, backup, file and other servers;

• Take regular backups, troubleshoot backup logs/errors, maintain backup schedules;

• Manage the vendor contracts/licenses for servers. Maintain licensing policy and consistency;

Job Qualifications:

Should have at least 4-years experience in the following skills:

- Active Directory 2008+

- Exchange 2007, 2010+ basic administration

- Proficient with virtual environment basic administration (VMWare/Citrix preferred);

- Storage / SAN experience (EMC preferred);

- Citrix knowledge a plus;

Good communications and interpersonal skills.
