Senior Semiconductor Test Engineer — Cohu Diamondx ATE

Full-Time On-Site U.S. Citizenship Required

We are hiring a Senior Test Engineer with Cohu Diamondx ATE experience to lead test program development, silicon bring-up, and production test support for digital, analog, and mixed-signal ICs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the test flow from design documentation through production release and working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

If you have built Diamondx test programs from scratch and debugged first silicon, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain Cohu Diamondx ATE test programs

Create test specifications from IC design documentation

Support first silicon bring-up and packaged device debug

Troubleshoot test software, hardware, and yield issues

Support wafer probe and final test production flows

Maintain test software configuration control

Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards

Monitor test yield and implement corrective actions

Mentor junior engineers and share best practices

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience

OR 5+ years of Cohu Diamondx test program development

Strong experience with:

IC test program development

Silicon debug and production release

Wafer probe and final test

Digital, analog, or mixed-signal devices

Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills

Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, or related field (preferred)

U.S. Citizen (required)

Nice to Have

Defense or aerospace program experience

Security clearance eligibility
