MACHINE OPERATOR DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

Location: Canaan, CT 06018 â 100% On-site

Payrate: $20/hr

Required Availability: Full-Time 7:00 AM â 7:00 PM (12-hour days)

Schedule: Alternating "2-2-3" style rotation (e.g., Mon/Tue on, Wed/Thu off, Fri/Sat/Sun on).

Overtime: Candidates must be available for overtime to meet production demands.

MACHINE OPERATOR SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator is responsible for executing routine production tasks such as filling, packing, and assembling while maintaining meticulous quality documentation in compliance with FDA and ISO standards. You will also assist with equipment changeovers and troubleshooting while participating in continuous improvement activities to ensure peak operational efficiency.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

MACHINE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production & Assembly: Perform routine functions including filling, packing, labeling, and assembling products under general supervision.

Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process checks and maintain meticulous records in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards.

Technical Support: Assist line technicians with equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and product changeovers.

Data Management: Accurately record production data, including scrap/waste and transactions within SAP and MES systems.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in "Lean" activities such as Kaizens and Blitzes to improve workflow and efficiency.

MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)

Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to handle quality documentation and technical specifications.

Experience: Prior manufacturing or industrial experience is required.

Technical Skills: Basic math proficiency and the ability to interpret written technical documents.
