Position Overview
The Government Healthcare Department is seeking a Lead MDM Admin/Developer to support the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team as part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiative.
This architect-level role will lead the design, development, and implementation of the Master Data Management (MDM) solution to enhance client data quality across multiple healthcare systems and enable unified reporting across client domain data.
As this is a backfill position, candidates will be reviewed directly by the hiring manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain MDM application layers, including ETL processes, metadata loads, and system enhancements.
• Architect and integrate data models in collaboration with EIM architects and subject matter experts to ensure alignment with existing and future system workflows.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for MDM solution implementation.
• Lead project execution activities including sprint planning, task coordination, and monitoring MDM lifecycle deployment.
• Drive enterprise data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data standards and frameworks.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience leading enterprise data architecture and MDM implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, ETL development, SQL, and database technologies.
• Extensive experience managing MDM and Data Governance deliverables including roadmaps, frameworks, and data models.
• Proven leadership in large-scale, complex enterprise data projects.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with HHSC’s TIERS system.
