Part-Time Office Operations Assistant (Law Firm)

A small law firm is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Operations Assistant to support core administrative and business-support functions. This is an in-office, non-exempt, hourly employee position, approximately 15–20 hours per week.

This role is intentionally limited in scope at present and may be expanded in the future as firm needs evolve.

Responsibilities include file and records management (pulling, organizing, storing, shredding, and destroying files in accordance with office procedures), assisting with payroll and tax coordination, tracking PTO and ESST, supporting benefits administration, processing accounts payable, reconciling credit cards and electronic filings, coordinating meetings and scheduling with the firm’s accounting provider, tracking continuing education credits, and handling routine administrative tasks as assigned.

Attention to detail is imperative. The successful candidate will be able to learn office procedures quickly, work independently after training, and handle confidential information with discretion. Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential. This position supports a small team that works closely together and values accountability and collaboration.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Employer identity will be disclosed later in the hiring process.
