Job Description
Observes mechanical devices in operation and diagnosis causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove, replace, and/or adjust defective or malfunctioning parts.
Examine parts to detect imperfection.
Maintains and repairs automotive, mechanical, and electrical systems, and maintains and repairs electrical equipment.
Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
Coordinates major truck repairs and warranty work with vendors.
Processes parts and maintenance invoices.
Maintains a safe work environment by following proper safety protocol with all diagnosis and repair work.
Provides necessary training to mechanic technicians on staff as needed.
Ability to diagnose and repair wiring deficiencies in landscape equipment.
Ability to operate specific equipment or tools.
Knowledge of maintenance programs
