Job Description

Job Title: CNC Operator

Responsibilities

Set up and operate the Prototrak machine.

Read and interpret setup sheets accurately.

Load the proper program from a flash drive.

Set up correct tools and fixtures in the machine.

Zero out machine dimensional parameters.

Load and run parts based on job specifications, primarily using sheet stock.

Perform quality checks on parts using calipers and height gauges.

Finish and deburr parts using hand grinders.

Cross-train and learn to operate new machines on the production line.

Take ownership and guide improvements of the Prototrak line.

Essential Skills

Experience in CNC setup and operation.

Ability to read blueprints and use calipers for quality inspection.

Computer literacy.

Physical ability to lift 25 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CNC cutters or benders.

Process improvement and leadership skills.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and climate-controlled environment as part of a small team. The position is for the 2nd shift, with hours from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, and optional overtime on Sundays from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PMJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, OH.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
