As part of our exciting expansion at CERATIZIT Slovenia, we are seeking an Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. Please note that this position requires regular on site presence in our office in Celje.

Your tasks:

Act as a key link between Sales, Customers, and Product Management, playing a central role in our business success

Provide technical support for our customers and carry out analyses and solution development

Optimization and market launch of new solutions

Support for field sales representatives in the preparation of customer-specific sales documentation, including appropriate technical solution concepts

Monitoring and identifying technological trends and changes, including market analysis and reporting

Your profile:

You are a qualified technician, or completed vocational training as a machining mechanic, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is considered a strong advantage

You have a prior relevant experience, and practical knowledge in the application of machining and cutting tools

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidCAM or similar) is considered a strong advantage, supporting efficient technical solution design and customer collaboration

Proven experience in project development, including planning, execution, and coordination of technical projects, is highly valued as it strengthens cross functional teamwork and accelerates solution delivery

You are resilient, and have strong communication and decision-making skills

You possess a good knowledge of project management, and experience working with an ERP system

You are fluent in both Slovenian and English, and willing to travel to meet customers on site
