Job Description

SUMMARY

Operates forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Moves loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.

Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.

Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.

Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.

Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.

Completes daily maintenance check list on truck.

Practices and obeys the health and safety rules of the company.

Practices good housekeeping at all times.

Practices guidelines as set out in company handbook.

Regular and prompt attendance.

Performs other duties as may be assigned.
