We are seeking a motivated and skilled .NET Developer to assist in the accessibility compliance efforts and ongoing maintenance and support of existing systems. This individual will need to work independently as assignments are given as well as in a team setting working with developers of various skill and experience levels. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex web-based software applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working with the project team to analyze and interpret user requirements and propose solutions.

• Leading the development effort.

• Experience with HTML and style sheets as it relates to accessibility functionality and compliance

• Designing and programming user interface, business layer, database layer and reporting components to meet user requirements.

• Proposing database designs for approval by the database administrators.

• Assisting with data migration from existing databases.

• Programming using Microsoft VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, XML, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server database.

• Using the Visual Studio development platform.

• Following various established coding and database standards.

• Using Azure DevOps for source code control, managing work items, managing testing activities and documentation versioning.

• Estimating time required for development to fulfill requirements.

• Reporting status of work to the project manager.

• Conducting adequate unit and regression testing for all developed code and resolving any bugs.

• Presenting complex technical constructs to non-technical users.

• Documenting, mentoring, and providing knowledge transfer to IT staff as required.

• Other duties as assigned.
