Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for patients with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, developmental delays, stroke recovery, and more.

Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs and goals.

Implement evidence-based interventions and techniques to improve speech clarity, language skills, and swallowing function.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.

Document progress and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.

Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for improving communication and swallowing outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (Florida).

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required.

Strong knowledge of speech-language and swallowing disorders, as well as evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Passion for helping others and a compassionate approach to patient care.
