The Nursing Manager – Operating Room (OR) is responsible for promoting the mission and values of the organization while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, excellent customer service, and efficient surgical operations. As a key member of the management team, this role contributes to system planning, budgeting, staffing, and program development to support safe, effective, and patient-centered surgical services.
This position is ideal for a clinically strong OR professional ready to step into leadership, such as a board runner, charge nurse, or shift supervisor, who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Promote quality patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance
Support daily OR operations and staff performance
Participate in budgeting, staffing, and manpower planning
Contribute to system planning and program development

Advocate for patients, staff, and organizational values
Education & Licensure
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Oklahoma RN license or applicable Multi-State Compact RN license
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Services RN experience
Certifications
BLS – must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer
ACLS – required within 30 days of hire
PALS – required within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Previous charge nurse or leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support clinical staff
Interest in growing into long-term nursing leadership
