Task and Responsibilities:

As a Tanning & Wellness consultant at Tommy's Tanning, responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellent services to members and guests:

Opening and closing the salon on time

Basic computer skills and knowledge

Cash handling, collecting payments from clients and maintaining an even till

Providing excellent customer service by ensuring clients' needs, issues and requests are met and are handled professionally

Ability to properly engage with all clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs

Ability to make recommendations for products and services

Ability to maintain the minimum sales requirement

Ability to multi-task, organizing time and workload throughout the day

Ability to maintain cleanliness of salon, tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas

Ability to work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced salon environment, while upholding all company policies and procedures

Maintain a professional appearance at all times

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment

Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes

Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors

Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc

Education, Skills and Training:

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Possess basic math and cash handling experience

Have strong phone, communication and computer skills

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time

Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance

Must have reliable transportation

Flexible availability including nights and weekends

Be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks

Work cohesively with others in a fun and fast-paced environment

Have a strong customer service orientation and be able to communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, vendors, and the location's management and team

Maintain client confidentiality
