Coating Operator

Your Contribution SUMMARY: Manual and automated operations for cleaning, coating, inspection, testing, cure and framing and handling product in a clean room environment.

DESCRIPTION: * Manual or automated cleaning of glass, packaging, and supplies * Inspect ware, coating, and frame quality * Apply frame to coated optics * Packing and documentation of product shipments * Operation of automated coating equipment and transporting glass through process stages * Test sag and transmitted wave front of glass * Computer entry of production results * Transport glass * Maintain accuracy, efficient work while upholding quality control * Maintain orderliness and cleanliness within work areas * Implement 5S plus safety principles within work areas Other duties as assigned Your Profile * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * 1-3 years in manufacturing environment.

Previous clean room experience is a plus.

* Ability to use basic computer operations and Microsoft Office systems required.

This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement.

Starting rate is $25.56 and includes 6 month progression increases up to 18 months.
