Empowered by the latest progress of AI, we are building the next generation of general-purpose robot which can work flexibly in unstructured environment, helping warehouses and manufacturers to significantly increase efficiency and reduce costs. Our team is expanding rapidly to accelerate development and meet growing customer demands.

Anyware Robotics is seeking highly skilled Mechanical Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing parts and components for robotic systems, conducting robust testing, troubleshooting and upgrading systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior talent. You will play a key role in ensuring the feasibility, reliability, and performance of our robotic systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with the hardware team to brainstorm and fast-pace prototype new ideas and concepts.

Leading junior engineers to complete full cycles of plan/execute/test in complex projects.

Communicating with OEMs for design feedbacks and iterations.

Supporting the assembly, testing, and validation of robotic prototypes and products. Instructing technicians/lab workers to optimize workload.

Assisting in the analysis and optimization of mechanical designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Participating in design reviews and providing feedback on mechanical designs.

Documenting design iterations, test results, and project progress.

Investigating and troubleshooting issues of the robotics system. Develop and implement targeted solutions as well as documentation to reduce potential failures in future.

Sharing your knowledge and skills with your teammates, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth.

Qualifications:

Holds a degree in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent. 2+ year of industry experience.

Mentality for fast prototyping and testing.

Previous experience of mechanical design, drawings (SolidWorks), GD&T, building and integration of any kind of robotic platforms. Student competition experience (Battle bot, Baja, F-SAE, etc.) is a plus.

Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and shop equipment, including 3D printers, power tools, and hand tools.

Understanding of manufacturing processes such as sheet-metal, weldment, machining.

Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills. Mandarin language skills is preferred.

Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.

Work on a full-time schedule at our office in Fremont.

Open for regular short onsite visits and for extended onsite visits during feature delivery.
