To strengthen our motivated Offset Printing Team at our plant in Indianapolis, IN we are looking for a highly competent Press Assistant.

Your Role

Performs area clearance to ensure product mix does not occur.

You will read and understand the job ticket to determine job set-up.

You will acquire and load materials according to schedule returning unused stock in a timely manner.

Inspects, mounts, removes, defaces, and properly disposes plates.

Sets up and adjusts guides to ensure quality work.

Monitors and keeps press running during Operator breaks and lunch.

Performs wash up duties on press for completed orders.

Operates fork truck and roll truck.

Maintains accurate records using good documentation practices.

Contributes to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free work area and promptly reports potentially unsafe conditions.

Complies with environmental and OSHA requirements to include wearing required personal protective equipment.

Other duties as reasonably requested.

Your Profile

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 6 months general work experience

Basic math and computer skills

Detail-oriented, quality and safety focused

Ability to communicate in written and spoken English

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs

Desired:

Experience working in a detailed, fast-paced environment

Familiarity with cGMP pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry
