Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager oversees the daily, hands-on facilities operations of an assigned school building. This role ensures the building is safe, clean, functional, and ready to support a high-quality learning environment. The Maintenance Manager works on-site and reports to the Facilities Director.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and custodial activities

Perform and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance

Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems; troubleshoot issues as needed

Respond promptly to facility issues and emergencies

Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and services

Support room setups, events, and daily school operations

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility standards

Serve as the primary on-site contact for facilities-related needs

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance, facilities, or site operations

Strong working knowledge of building systems

Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and manage multiple priorities

Reliable, safety-focused, and service-oriented

Work Schedule & Conditions

Full-time, on-site

Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
