Cross-functional Engineering & Quality lead position within Circular Economy is responsible for working and interacting with peer teams within Stellantis and service suppliers. Individual is required to have High Voltage Battery, Warehousing & Supplier Quality and Engineering experience. Candidate is responsible to work with Engineering, Suppliers, Packaging Operations and Warehouse cross-functional teams to collaborate on quality improvement projects and driving change within Mopar & Circular Economy enablers, with focus on:

Product quality engineering improvement at Design and Process levels

Process Audits

Warehouse Quality

Supplier Throughput Improvement Actions

Implementing Product Engineering Design Quality Improvement Actions

The responsibilities of the Cross-functional Engineering & Quality lead position will include at a minimum the following:

Assist with developing and enhancing quality management systems, focusing on customer satisfaction, business process standardization, reliability and effectiveness

Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to improve quality of service parts and Mopar processes

Plan, audit, and verify corrective actions to ensure compliance with technical requirements of the product and process according to a standard

Ensure correct application of process methods and specifications within packaging & Depot areas

Recommend and validate rework procedures

Develop inspection procedures and best practices for performing inspection per FCA standards

Recommend, implement, and verify cost-effective, permanent corrective actions

Lead & Work with Design Release Engineers on Product improvement actions

Recommend and implement cost savings initiatives as applicable

Review parts returned from dealerships & field PDC's

Process non-conformance tickets (NCT) and issue Quality Control Messages (QCM)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

7+ years of experience in high paced Manufacturing, Quality & Product Development environments

High Voltage Battery environment experience

Proven track record in supplier issue root cause, process improvements & cost recoveries

The candidate must have successfully demonstrated the application of the theory, approaches and tools within the operating system at the right step with the right level of rigor

Demonstrated issue resolution meetings with stakeholders and escalate priority concerns

Identification of critical processes and develop solutions

Demonstrated experience in the application of problem-solving tool

Coordinate and lead workshops to resolve major issues

Lead issue resolution meetings with stakeholders and escalate priority concerns

Knowledgeable in Teamcenter

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Highly motivated self-starter and change agent

Ability to work and communicate well with all types of people (shop floor to plant manager) to assist, coach, and mentor projects for the proper transfer of knowledge leading to project closure

Knowledgeable in Teamcenter And understanding of PPAP/APQP metrics a plus

Lead Auditor IATF 16949 & VDA 6.3 Process Auditor expertise a plus
