Shift Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor with the below qualifications:
This shift is from 6:00pm-7:00am on a 3-2-2 rotating shift!
Professional Attributes
Manage time off requests and unexpected no-show situations
Document and communicate situations when disciplinary action is necessary (tardiness, time theft, safety violations etc.)
Set performance goals for individual Team Members and teams each shift
Ensure goals are met through collection of daily production planning and production results
Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution
Maintain a work environment that encourages compliance with safety laws and adhere to the Company's quality policy and objectives
Assist other team members with preventative maintenance, setup and process as required
Act as an advocate for Continuous Improvement, making suggestions on how to improve processes through resource allocations
Responsible for all floor activities when Managers are not on duty
Provide feedback to managers on Team Member performance and training needs
Act as a mentor, coach, and trainer for new and existing Team Members
Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Associate Degree or Technical Degree preferred
Strong leadership skills with experience directing a team
4+ years of manufacturing experience required
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
Drive to succeed, motivation and positive attitude
Ability to meet deadlines and ensure goals are achieved
Detail oriented
Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
High degree of professionalism
Must be able to climb ladders
Must be able to lift 55-60 lbs. at continuous intervals throughout the day
Must be able to pull finished products and 350 lbs. gaylords of material
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to operate necessary equipment to do the job
Requires frequent bending, squatting and twisting motions
