We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong Azure Data Factory (ADF) expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines within the Azure cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SQL, data warehousing principles, and cloud-based ETL solutions, with proven experience supporting enterprise data integrations and migrations.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and strong SQL programming
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Azure data services
Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) including:
Pipeline design and development
Data orchestration and workflow automation
Integration Runtime configuration
Linked Services and Dataset management
Monitoring and troubleshooting ADF pipelines
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server including performance tuning and optimization
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Experience developing or integrating Azure Functions within data workflows
Strong understanding of:
Data warehousing concepts
ETL/ELT design patterns
Data quality and validation strategies
Error handling and logging best practices
Nice to Have
Experience migrating data from on-premise or legacy systems to Azure using ADF
Experience implementing:
Incremental load strategies
Change Data Capture (CDC)
Data partitioning and performance optimization
Experience integrating data from REST/SOAP APIs and handling high-volume data ingestion
Experience with CRM data migration or transformation (e.g., Siebel or similar platforms)
Exposure to additional Azure data services such as:
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Data Lake Storage
Azure SQL Database
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Experience working with APIs and best practices for handling large-volume data
