Position Summary
Springcreek is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead environmental services operations within a skilled nursing facility setting. This role is responsible for supervising housekeeping & laundry staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare cleanliness and infection control standards, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, patients, staff, and visitors.
Essential Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and support housekeeping & laundry staff to ensure consistent performance and accountability
Ensure all areas of the facility meet healthcare cleanliness, sanitation, and infection prevention standards
Conduct routine inspections and audits; address deficiencies promptly
Develop and manage staff schedules and assignments
Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and leadership teams to support facility operations
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards
Participate in staff coaching, evaluations, and corrective action as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a healthcare environment (hospital, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or similar)
Knowledge of infection control practices and healthcare sanitation standards
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet operational needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
Familiarity with regulatory surveys and inspections
