Cook Position Overview
Responsibilities:
Understand and apply dietary and cooking techniques
Follow dietary orders and standardized recipes
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Maintain food and dietary sanitation standards
Comply with state, federal, and facility dietary policies and procedures
Promote and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Demonstrate strong work ethics and dependability
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, families, and coworkers
Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
Excellent customer service skills
Availability to work every other weekend
Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
