Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs and drive profitability
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
Support external audits and tax filings
Mentor and develop the finance team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Active CPA license is required
10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and ERP systems
Aerospace manufacturing experience is a strong plus
Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with government contracts and DCAA compliance
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
