AR Supervisor

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable team by overseeing billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.

Ensure timely and accurate customer billing in alignment with contractual terms and internal policies.

Monitor collection activities to identify overdue balances, assess risks, and confirm complete documentation.

Manage customer escalations and resolve billing disputes by coordinating with internal teams and maintaining professional communication.

Conduct audits, prepare reports, and provide root cause analyses to support leadership decision making. Requirements:

Communicate clearly through strong written and verbal communication skills.

Exhibit excellent organizational, time management, and leadership abilities.

Maintain a high level of accuracy by applying strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve invoicing, payment, and reporting workflows.

Leverage industry experience, with backgrounds in construction or environmental services viewed as a plus. Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of AR processes, credit practices, and collection strategies.

Use ERP systems effectively, with experience in large scale platforms preferred.

Apply proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to support reporting and analysis tasks.

Manage competing priorities successfully in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
