Cloud Integration Analyst
Location & Travel Details: On-site in Reston, VA or remote position. Preference given to candidates in Eastern or Central time zones.
Travel: Light travel for onsite go-lives at client sites in MD, DC, and VA, and key meetings (as needed)
Availability Expectations: This role requires a high level of availability and responsiveness during standard business hours aligned to Eastern Time. The Cloud Integration Analyst must be accessible for real-time collaboration, issue resolution, and go-live support across operating companies.
Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 annually

About the Role
The Cloud Integration Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between cloud-based applications and on-premises systems. You will ensure data flows reliably across HRIS, ERP, CRM, field service, and financial platforms-enabling accurate reporting, operational efficiency, and scalability across all operating companies.
As a Cloud Integration Analyst, you will be a key contributor to Exigent's digital transformation.
This role offers a unique opportunity to:
Build and optimize integrations that support real-world field operations in HVAC and Plumbing environments
Work across multiple operating companies with diverse systems and workflows
Influence integration architecture and best practices from the ground up
Partner directly with business leaders, IT, and vendors on high-impact initiatives
Gain hands-on exposure to enterprise platforms such as UKG, Salesforce, ERP systems, and iPaaS tools
This is a customer-facing, highly collaborative role that blends technical expertise with business process understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Design & Development
Design, develop, and maintain cloud and hybrid integrations using iPaaS and API-based solutions
Translate business requirements into scalable integration architectures
Support integrations across systems such as UKG, ERP platforms, Salesforce, BuildOps, and other operational tools
API & Data Management
Configure, manage, and monitor REST and SOAP APIs
Define data mapping, transformation rules, and synchronization logic
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
Testing, Troubleshooting & Go-Live Support
Conduct end-to-end testing of integrations prior to deployment
Troubleshoot issues during implementation and post-go-live
Provide onsite or remote support during system launches and major updates
Monitoring, Optimization & Security
Monitor integration performance, reliability, and scalability
Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation
Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and compliance standards
Documentation & Stakeholder Collaboration
Create and maintain clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and job aids
Partner with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders
Communicate status, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
What We're Looking For
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a technically strong, business-minded integration professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges and working across multiple systems. You are comfortable being customer-facing, can clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and thrive in an environment where priorities evolve as the business grows. Experience supporting operational systems in service-based or construction-related industries is a strong advantage, as is a proactive mindset and passion for building scalable, reliable solutions.
Required:
3-5 years of experience in cloud integration, iPaaS, or integration engineering
Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Salesforce iPaaS, or similar
Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs
Experience working with SQL and data analysis
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Experience integrating HRIS/Payroll (UKG), ERP systems (NetSuite or Sage Intacct), Salesforce, or BuildOps
Experience with enterprise platforms such as UKG, Salesforce, ERP systems, and iPaaS tools (Workato)
Familiarity with HVAC, construction, or field service industries
Scripting or development experience (Python, Java, JavaScript)
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Soft Skills: Customer-focused, proactive, excellent problem-solver, works well independently and in teams, and comfortable with light travel.
Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in CS or IT preferred; relevant IT certifications preferred.
