About the Job: The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that build workforce capability and support operational excellence. This role will play a critical role in both employee development and the company's upcoming SAP S4/HANA implementation.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Build Training Programs: Develop and design competency-based training, onboarding, SOPs, work instructions, job aids, and e-learning modules that meet operational needs while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Support SAP Implementation: Lead end-user training, facilitate change impact meetings, publish content to the LMS, and provide on-the-ground support before, during, and after Go-Live. Act as a key partner in driving successful adoption of SAP across all shifts.
Manage the LMS: Maintain accurate and current training materials, manage user groups and learning paths, track employee qualifications, and ensure the system supports compliance and document control standards.
Drive Change: Partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver training that supports organizational initiatives, manage resistance effectively, and engage employees at every level.
Grow Workforce Capability: Support career development programs, apprenticeships, and structured upskilling pathways. Identify skills gaps, design solutions, and foster leadership and growth opportunities across the workforce.
Measure Success: Track and report training KPIs, evaluate program effectiveness, and continuously improve processes to maximize impact and return on training investment.
Minimum Requirements:
Teaching or training experience with strong technical writing skills (SOPs, curriculum development, training content).
Experience working in a manufacturing or operations environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to processes and systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with proven ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
Willingness to work fully onsite in a plant setting, with flexibility to occasionally support 2nd/3rd shifts during training rollouts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Prior experience in food manufacturing.
SAP/ERP training or project support experience.
Familiarity with ADKAR or other change management frameworks.
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
