Apprentice Service Technician

We are seeking a Apprentice Technician to join our team! This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical services on vehicles, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a passion for delivering top-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership - familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures

Assist service advisor in test driving vehicles, and testing components and systems - you will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed

Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Ford technician training

Strong teamwork skills

Interest in and passion for the automotive industry

Eagerness to work hard with a positive attitude
