Handyman - Maintenance Technician

Location: Baton Rouge, Area LA

Pay: $28-$30 per hour (Based on Experience)

Hours: 40-50 per week

Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Handyman - Maintenance Technician to join our team in Baton Rouge Area, LA.

This is a long-term position offering steady hours, competitive pay, and work in a commercial and residential environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (required)

Assist with plumbing, welding, carpentry, masonry, drywall repair, and general facility repairs as needed

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

Support operations teams with technical expertise

Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company standards

Requirements:

Strong electrical maintenance experience (required)

Commercial and/or residential maintenance background preferred

Experience in plumbing, welding, masonry, or carpentry is a plus

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented

Must have reliable commercial-grade transportation (pickup truck or transit van)

Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug test
