Position Information Position Title Directions Program Mentor Department Career, Leadership, and Service Job Location Crete, NE (68333) Supervisor Quint Geis Purpose of Job Responsible for helping students navigate their first year at Doane as a member of the Directions cohort.

Support students in their transition to Doane, facilitate conversations about leadership, and guide students towards resources that will help them succeed in and out of the classroom.

Directions mentors do not need to be current members of the Directions cohort.

General Description and Duties * Meet with two first-year Directions students once per week during the fall and spring semesters.

* Facilitate a 30-minute discussion each week with your mentees.

* Fill out weekly discussion guides with notes about your meetings.

* Attend Directions Mentor trainings (5 hours Fall semester, 1 hour Spring semester) * Meet with the CLS Staff and the Head Mentor twice per semester.
