Job Summary

Powder Horn Family Camping Resort is a family camping resort located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. We are seeking a positive, friendly, and energetic skilled facilities team member to join our Facilities Team this summer! Our resort has varied departments across all lines of our operations to ensure a great camping experience for all our guests. From working outside with our Facilities Team and on our pool decks, providing fun and entertainment with the Activities and Game Window Teams, to working inside with the Front Office and Camp Store and Café. There are many different roles that make Powder Horn run!

Availability during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays is a must. Looking for a full-time skilled facilities team member who is available to work from late-March through mid-December, weather permitting. This individual would be skilled or semi-skilled with the responsibility of routine maintenance of a camping resort. Must be a team player, dependable, and safety-conscious.

Skilled Maintenance Team Member Job Description

Our Facilities/Maintenance/Grounds Team ensures that Powder Horn grounds and facilities run smoothly! From groundskeeping to ensure a clean and neat outside environment across the campground to keeping the restrooms clean for all of our guests, the Facilities Team always works hard to make sure that Powder Horn continues to be the cleanest campground in the area! This role includes working both inside and outside in all types of weather, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and working with cleaning supplies. A valid driver's license is required.

As a Skilled Maintenance Team Member you'll...

Get direct supervision from the Facilities Management Team

Carry out direction through self leadership to complete daily assignments

Install and maintain landscaping and new grounds areas to include light construction

Operate equipment and the cleaning/maintenance of mowers, tractors, golf carts, trailers, and other minor equipment

Be responsible for seasonal daily maintenance tasks related to campsites, buildings, pool complexes, and recreation areas

Experience preferred includes...

Landscaping and/or groundskeeping

Facilities maintenance

Equipment operation and maintenance, such as tractors, pick-up trucks, and golf carts

Facilities Team Lead Pay (18+): $19 - $21/hr
