Duties

Operate telehandlers (material handlers) to load, unload, and move materials safely around the warehouse or construction site

Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and update records

Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders

Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery

Load and unload materials using appropriate attachments like clamp trucks or forks, ensuring proper handling of heavy loads

Support warehouse distribution activities by managing materials handling tasks efficiently and safely

Follow OSHA safety protocols diligently during all operations to maintain a secure work environment

Requirements

Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as telehandlers, forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks in a warehouse or construction setting

Rough Terrain Telehandler Forklift Certification

Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management systems

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling

Ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems accurately for order processing

Warehouse experience with skills in heavy lifting, pallet jacks, and load & unload procedures

Prior experience in construction or logistics environments is highly desirable

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
