Responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance and inspection activities on assigned rig. He or she must implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements. Manage maintenance priorities with overall rig operation priorities to maximize rig efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Recognized trade qualification from technical college/apprenticeship.

10+ years of experience as a Mechanic, Electrician or Electronics Technician; and 1+ years of offshore cyber jack-up experience.

Valid BOSIET CA EBS

5+ years of experience working with IFS.

Superior troubleshooting skills and techniques.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and mentor others to and develop their skills and knowledge.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to understand and interact with diverse groups and operations and to recognize and resolve conflict.

Proficient in office applications, Noble's Maintenance System, and other systems required for the position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the coordinated planning of all maintenance activities for the rig with the Drilling Superintendent, Rig Manager, and others on the rig in order to utilize time for maintenance in an efficient manner.

Advise others of modifications, changes to procedures and/or frequencies which will improve the Noble Maintenance System and be in compliance with the Management of Change System ("MOC") on an ongoing basis.

Ensure that all incomplete repairs and projects are finished within the scheduled time of completion in order to keep the backlog of work to a minimum.

Responsible for input and cost control measures to ensure that annual maintenance costs are managed within the rig budget.

Assist the Barge Engineer as needed any engineering changes on board the vessel, and provide technical support as needed for MOC.

Responsible in the maintenance, function testing and/or repairs of all aspects of the units ballasting and/or related rig systems and controls to ensure that the unit is maintained in an operable state at all times.

Responsible maintaining all rig damage control equipment at proper inventory levels and in working order.

Ensure that entries on work permits, isolation tags and logs accurately reflect the current status of equipment.

Ensure maintenance is completed and records are kept accurately to maintain compliance to regulations governing the rig location.

Assist team in maintenance of equipment as required.

Ensure that annual performance reviews for all maintenance crew members are completed and communicated to crew members.

Provide guidance and support to crew members as required.

Participate in the development of newly appointed crew members.

Ensure replacement parts are kept to an optimum level.

Ensure that material requisitions accurately reflect the desired materials and/or services and that unused materials are properly documented and returned to inventory.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL

Implement and uphold Noble's safety policies and procedures.

Ensure that all operations proceed in a safe manner. Correct and notify responsible parties of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for environmental protection.

Encourage and motivate personnel to observe safety and environmental policies and all intended and implied requirements of Noble's Management System.

Responsible for familiarizing and adhering to Noble's Live Safe Code for the purpose of promoting a zero-incident and no-harm workplace.

Responsible for familiarizing and utilizing Noble's Hazard Identification Tool to manage risk created by various energy sources found in the workplace.

Attend and actively participate in daily pre-tour and weekly safety meetings.

Ensure compliance with the requirements established in Noble's Management System.

Initiate a safety stand down whenever an unplanned hazard or change in the expected results is observed.

Perform all Safety Critical Tasks as detailed in the HSE Case.

Incorporate the STOP the job planning process into all tasks, whether working alone or as part of a team.

Take the initiative to perform emergency duties without specific orders or instruction.

Responsible for compliance with all government regulations.
