Lab Scientist

Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, stool, tissue, and other body samples.

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests including hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, and parasitology.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.

Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of test results.

Document and report laboratory findings in accordance with established protocols.

Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.

Identify abnormalities or inconsistencies in test results and communicate appropriately.

Prepare reagents, solutions, and culture media when needed.

Assist in training and guiding lab technicians or interns.

Participate in laboratory audits, quality improvement, and accreditation processes.
