General Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager for a branch located in Reno, NV, & Manchester, NH within the uniform and linen rental industry. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing branch operations and financial performance, with full P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Directing and optimizing overall branch operations while managing P&L

- Leading cross-functional teams, including production, customer service, maintenance, quality, HR, and safety

- Ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction

- Developing and mentoring employees, fostering a team-oriented culture

- Establishing policies and procedures to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

- Tracking operational metrics to meet revenue and cost targets

- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and quality

- Ensuring compliance with safety and training requirements

- Managing labor relations and collaborating with union leadership as needed

- Executing special projects assigned by senior leadership

- Completing administrative and reporting responsibilities accurately and on time

Qualifications for this role include:

- 5+ years of management experience in industrial laundry, linen supply, or related production environments

- Strong operational, production, service, and business leadership background

- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

- Excellent communication skills

- Customer service focus and growth mindset

- Experience with unions and labor relations is preferred

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

A Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, finance, or a related field is preferred, although an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

The role requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, lift up to 30 lbs, and move equipment as needed. The work environment includes office settings, customer locations, vehicles, and industrial laundry facilities, with regular local travel and occasional air travel.
